We are bringing Ethopian Coffees to the World
In a close partnership between Neumann Kaffee Gruppe, a global leader in green coffee services, and MIDROC Investment Group, managing the world’s largest coffee farms under Horizon Plantations and Ethio Agri-CEFT, as well as coffee processing and warehousing facilities in Addis Ababa, we connect Ethiopian coffee to over 28 countries worldwide.
This alliance ensures both the preservation of unique Ethiopian coffee qualities and their seamless distribution to coffee lovers worldwide.
In Ethiopia, coffee is not just a drink. It’s a culture, a heritage, and a livelihood. From traditional ceremonies to modern coffee shops, Ethiopia represents a rich legacy of passion and precision. The roots go back many centuries and make Ethiopia the birthplace of Arabica coffee.
About the farms
With over 25,000 hectares of land and advanced processing and warehousing facilities in Addis Ababa, Midroc proudly operates the world’s largest privately owned coffee plantation. Organized under Horizon Plantations and Ethio Agri-Ceft, the group manages eleven farms located in different coffee regions of Ethiopia.
The farm coffees are sold under six different brands of Bebeka, Limmu, Gemadro, Duyena, Ayehu and Beha. All farms offer ideal altitude and climate which contributes to the ranges of flavors and qualities. The commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability ensures unparalleled quality.
Bebeka, Gemadro, Duyena and Beha farms are found located in the Southwestern region, Limmu in Oromia region, and Ayehu in Amhara region of northern Ethiopia.
From washing stations surrounded by nature to drying beds kissed by the Ethiopian sun, we know that all the hard work at every stage of preparation preserves the distinct flavors that define our Ethiopian coffees.
